This workshop provides a transformative approach for supporting the holistic development of students, emphasizing academic mastery while addressing their emotional and mental health needs. It will help equip educators and school teams with tools to create a healing, resilience-centered school environment that fosters both academic success along with mental and psychological health.
Participants will explore how mastery learning, combined with growth-based schooling, and strength-based teaching, can create a holistic school environment that fosters resilience, equity, and inclusion.
Objectives include:
- Provide practical tools to enhance student well-being and cognitive development
- Discuss strategies to design instruction that embraces diverse perspectives
- Empowering students to take ownership of their learning and well-being
- Participants receive the School Wellness Wheel book
