Marzano Resources Selects New President

Bloomington, Ind. (December 30, 2024)—Marzano Resources, a premier provider of K–12 professional development resources and services for educators, has announced the selection of Dr. Terri Martin as its new President. Martin brings over 18 years of executive leadership experience.

Martin joined Marzano Resources (formerly Marzano Research) in 2012, serving as Executive Vice President of the company and director of the Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Central contract, awarded by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) at the U.S. Department of Education. In 2018, Martin joined Solution Tree as the Executive Vice President of Business Development.

Prior to Marzano Resources and Solution Tree, Martin spent twenty years as a teacher and administrator, and she was the Director of School Improvement Initiatives for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. She holds an EdD in general administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

As President for Marzano Resources, Martin will support the growth and development of the company and its staff. To address the growing need for evidence in the education field, Marzano Resources will rigorously study its impact in schools and share findings broadly. The company will also foster collaborative partnerships with leading research institutions and organizations to advance educational research. By leveraging technology and innovative design, Marzano Resources will continue to create and refine powerful tools for educators at all levels, from teachers to district and state leaders.
